Welcome to Red Sun Studio. Located in Clintonville, WI. We're just 40 minutes north of Appleton and 50 minutes west of Green Bay. Red Sun Studio is a Recording Studio that I operate out of my house. Offering both Analog and Digital recording formats we specialize in producing quality demos for the working band...

In the Analog domain I have a Tascam TSR-8 reel to reel. Its a 1/2" 8 track format. I currently use a Tascam M-30 mixer. For people who prefer digital I have a Digidesign Digi-002 that I use along with a Apple Mac Pro Computer with 10 GB of system memory.

At Red Sun Studio we can handle all styles of music...

I started this site as a way to let people know that I record music and that I exist. But then I looked at my site and thought that I could do a lot more... thats when I decided to expand the concept of RedSunStudio from a classic "classified ad" type of web-site to a more comprehensive site that has a little bit of everything. I felt that I actually had something to say.

In the coming weeks I plan on adding articles about basic recording terms and concepts as well as adding a section where I can review all of the instruments and equipment I have bought and give the average joe an honest idea of what another average person thinks. I might convince you to buy a certain piece of equipment or maybe even talk you out of it...

Also in the works is a tutorial section with videos ranging from basic things like how to tune a drum to videos that show how to play some of my favorite songs.

Im even open to the possibility of "you" the reader contributing. If you think you have a good idea for an article or want to say something about the music industry in general, use my contact page and let me know what your idea is. If I think it fits with my overall plan for the site I might include it along with proper credit for you...
